Magic for a good cause in Ocean City

By On Deck Staff

The internationally known, award winning Belmont Magic Show returns to Ocean City with an exciting new show and a very special goal.
This year’s show will again benefit Feed The Children—a charity that delivers millions of pounds of food and emergency supplies to hungry children here at home and around the world.
In 2008, Feed The Children distributed more than 135 million pounds of food and other vital necessities to hundreds of thousands of families devastated by natural disasters and poverty in all 50 states and throughout the world.
“As long as there are children in this world going hungry, we must be there,” said Larry Jones, the charity’s founder.
Feed The Children is dedicated to providing food, medicine, clothing, and other necessities to children and families who lack the basics they need to survive due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster.
Consequently, the Belmont Magic Show will donate 10 percent of all ticket sales from their Ocean City performance to the charity.
“Imagine a world without empty bowls—now, that’s magic,” said master magician Al Belmont.
Belmont will return to the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace, for one performance only, June 24 at 7:30 p.m., with a fast paced, hour and a half show on a par with the best TV magic specials.
This great family show sold out last year, so advance purchase is highly recommended.
Tickets are still just $10 for children and seniors and $15 for adults, available at the Music Pier Box Office, 609-525-9248 or at the door.
