CAPE MAY — The grounds of Cape May’s 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St., are transformed into an open-air festival for its traditional Victorian Fair, sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities (MAC), on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Find one-of-a-kind gifts and handmade items from dozens of crafts vendors including MAC’s popular white elephant table where you can find everything, but the kitchen sink. Antiques vendors set-up shop and sell original items, unique antiques, collectibles, art and jewelry. Enjoy live music, kids activities and much more.
Admission to the grounds is free and a free trolley shuttle from the Washington Street Mall Information Booth to the Physick Estate will be offered throughout the day.
Don’t forget to stop in the Emlen Physick Estate for guided tours of Cape May’s only Victorian house museum, with its new theme for 2010: On the Town, Dining out and Entertainments during the 19th Century.
The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities (MAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preser-vation and interpretation of Cape May’s heritage.
