An Old-Fashioned Christmas Exhibit: An exhibit of holiday traditions through the years. Stand beneath the branches of a huge Christmas tree and enjoy the dozens of buildings and village scenes of the Dickens Village. Cape May Stage Presents “This Wonderful Life” by Steve Murray: Share the hope and humor of Frank Capra’s adored Christmas film It’s A Wonderful Life in this delightful stage adaptation. This one-man tour de force delivers a witty and moving story that is sure to capture your heart and captivate your spirit. One amazing actor portrays George Bailey, Clarence the Angel, Mary, Old Man Potter, and 20 more of Bedford Falls’ finest citizens.

Christmas Traditions Lecture: Much of what we associate with the celebration of Christmas comes from the Victorian era, including Christmas trees, cards, carols and our image of Santa Claus. Learn how Prince Albert brought Christmas traditions to England from Germany when he married Queen Victoria, and how these traditions spread to America in this richly illustrated lecture at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, Washington and Franklin streets. 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.
