Macie Hawthorne, local artist and college student, recently won “Best in Teen 13-18 Age Category” and “Best in Show” at a Cape May County art show under the National Arts Program. Her winning piece was a drawing named “Intemporal.” Along with her drawing, 47 other pieces of art from around the country have been selected for a national award through the National Arts Program.
