By Herald Staff

CAPE M AY — What better way to step into spring than to meet the Animal Outreach of Cape May County’s Board of Directors and volunteers at their annual “Singing Cats and Dogs” Open Mic night April 21, 6 p.m.at the Mad Batter Restaurant and Bar in downtown Cape May.
Hosted by local artist and WCFA-FM radio personality MQ Murphy, Open Mic night is a fun night for locals and visitors alike. We’re cuing up our play list to include an evening of songs and sing-alongs about our favorite four-legged friends and we want you to join in. Show off your skills and have some laughs – all for a good cause. If you’re not at the Mad Batter that night, then you really “Ain’t Nothin’ but a Hound Dog.” Elvis impersonators welcome.
Tickets are $25 per person and include a free buffet, live music and an Animal Outreach Courtesy Card to get great discounts throughout the area. There is a cash bar. Buy your tickets now online at www.aocmc.org or visit our Adoption Center, 600 Park Blvd., Unit 3, Cape May, NJ 08204.
