WILDWOOD — The Wildwoods Convention Center will hold a lighting ceremony on Fri., June 25 at 8:45 p.m. for the newly-installed “Doo Wop” light sculpture installed inside the glowing glass tower above the Wildwoods Convention Center’s main entrance.
The light sculpture will utilize vibrant colors and fantastic shapes influenced by the Wildwoods’ Doo Wop architecture to personify what the Wildwoods is all about – pure sensory overload!
Designed by renowned New Jersey artist Chris Freeman, the lighted sculpture is part of New Jersey’s Arts Inclusion Program and is Phase II of III of the Wildwoods Convention Center’s arts package.
