Kiwanis Wine Gala Set for Oct. 4

Have you ever wondered what Kiwanis clubs are or what we do? Allow me to take this time to introduce you. Kiwanis International was founded in 1915 to assist local children in having a richer and fuller life. Currently, Kiwanis Clubs are located in many countries benefiting children everywhere.
To name a few, this year the Kiwanis club of Cape May Court House has provided help from buying the boys’ lacrosse team uniforms and equipment to donating four scholarships through Middle Township High School and Atlantic Cape Community College, and even to sending a local family to Disney World whose daughter is terminally ill.
It is the goal of the Kiwanis to enrich the lives of local children and their families, giving them a more fulfilled and brighter future.
In support of our continuing efforts, the Kiwanis club of Cape May Court House is hosting a Wine Gala at Cape May Winery on October 4th from 7 to 10pm. This “Evening of Small Plates” is offered courtesy of Cape May’s finest dining establishments.
There will be three renowned Cape May restaurants – The Washington Inn, Tisha’s and the Black Duck – to provide an array of dishes along with a diverse collection of wines. The Gala features a three hour open bar.
