TOWNSENDS INLET — Vendors and neighbors wanted for the King Neptune Festival indoor nautical sidewalk sale and auction.
The festival will take place July 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Townsends Inlet Civic Center located at 138 85th St. in Sea Isle City, and will feature nautical items, coastal art, home decor as well as crafts, jewelry and more.
See King Neptune and sit on his throne. King Neptune kick off with giveaways, 8 a.m.; Jr. King Neptune costume contest 9 a.m. for boys ages 2-10 and mermaid contest for girls ages 2-10. Great prizes will be awarded by King Neptune for the best Jr. King Neptune and Mermaid costume.
Auction 10 a.m., noon Sea Shell contest winners. Come and see the 20-foot King Neptune statue and get your official King Neptune T-Shirt or the civic center’s famous homemade Sand Castle Cake.
Table space is now available at $ 30 for a three by eight-foot table and two chairs. Reserve table space now. Applications are being accepted on a first come first serve basis.All proceeds benefit The Townsends Inlet Civic Center Restoration Fund.
