Are you interested in supporting the future of the arts in Cape May County? The Jersey Shore Pops is looking for new members to help with that mission. The Jersey Shore Pops is one of the state’s most popular orchestras based in Cape May County. The Jersey Shore Pops has been in existence in the county since 2009 and has brought tens of thousands of visitors from out of state to Cape May County during their popular summer concert series.
Volunteers are the backbone of any non-profit organization and are needed to assist in promotional display assistance, publicity, grant writing, website design and various other activities. Any help in these areas would be welcome but experience is not required. The 2013 Summer Concert Series begins at the PAC on Sat., June 29 with The Irish Tenor. Because funding from the county and state have decreased in years, the orchestra is especially seeking some volunteers that have more experience with grant writing and corporate fundraising.
Jersey Shore Pops is a New Jersey non-profit corporation and is comprised of professional musicians from all over South Jersey. The non-profit arts organization is looking for members who wish to support the arts either financially or with promotion of events and concerts. Members who attend will be given promotional materials for the upcoming season.
