COURT HOUSE – Are you interested in supporting the future of the arts in Cape May County? The Jersey Shore Pops Orchestra is looking for new members to help with that mission. Volunteers are the backbone of any non-profit organization and are needed to assist in promotional display assistance, publicity, grant writing, website design and various other activities. Any help in these areas would be welcome, but experience is not required.
Jersey Shore Pops is a New Jersey non-profit corporation and is comprised of professional musicians from all over South Jersey. The non-profit arts organization is looking for members who wish to support the arts either financially or behind the scenes with events and concerts.
The Jersey Shore Pops has a busy summer 2014 schedule planned with 2 concerts planned at the Ocean City Music Pier beginning with their Memorial Day concert America on May 24. They also have 4 concerts planned at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center beginning with Mark Preston, formerly of the popular singing group, The Lettermen on July 12 at 7:00 p.m. The orchestra will make their debut at both The Ocean City Music Pier this year, as well as at the Performing Arts Center at the Atlantic County Technical School in Mays Landing. The 2014 Season will also include special appearances in Stone Harbor during the Summer Stone Harbor Centennial Celebration.
