Jersey Shore Pops Announces 2015 Summer Concert Season at PAC

COURT HOUSE – Linda Gentille & The Jersey Shore Pops are proud to welcome the United States’ premier Elvis Tribute Artist to open their 2015 Summer Concert Series. Doug Church will take the stage in “The True Voice of Elvis” at the Middle Township PAC on Saturday, July 11 at 7:00 PM. This 2 hour show will include most of Elvis biggest hits.
When Doug Church entered the United States Air Force after high school, he began competing in base talent shows and winning. “Then I got to the regional levels and began winning in larger ponds that involved bases all around Europe.” Before he had completed his four years in the Air Force, the crooner had won an impressive 11 first place trophies for his Elvis talents.
After becoming a celebrated performance artist in the Midwest, Church was invited to join “Legends in Concert,” the entourage in which tribute artists perform as celebrities. While “Legends” is based in Las Vegas, its performers travel the globe. Church has wowed audiences in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Aruba, The Bahamas and even Moscow – and yes, everybody there recognizes The King.
This show will be Doug Church’s symphony and Cape May County and is expected to sell out. Church is very excited about his symphony debut. He comments, “The orchestra is so impressive and Linda is quite the performer and conductor. She definitely has an impressive resume.”
There’s a new challenge coming in Church’s life in the near future, when he will doing the Elvis musical soundtrack in an upcoming motion picture called “Fame and Fortune.” Church will be handling a 17-year span of years in Elvis’ life. Also involved in the film is Elvis’ best friend and bodyguard, Sonny West, who has become a close friend of Church’s.

Most of the orchestra level is already sold out to this special event and limited tickets if available will be sold the night of the performance. Advance purchase is advised.
