CAPE MAY – Jazz Vespers at the First Presbyterian Church, Hughes & Decatur Streets, Cape May, on May 15 and June 19.

Jazz Vespers at the First Presbyterian Church, Hughes & Decatur Streets, Cape May, NJ. presents the unique sounds of the Siora World Jazz Ensemble. Led by the amazing vocalist Phyllis Chapel, who sings in 6 different languages, this exciting group plays music inspired by several of the world’s great cultures, blended with the perspective of American jazz. They will play tunes inspired by the music of many countries and regions including Brazil, Israel, Morocco and the Far East.

Jazz Vespers at the First Presbyterian Church, Hughes & Decatur Streets, Cape May, NJ. The Ed Vezinho/Jim Ward Big Band storms the Jazz Vespers stage. Riding the crest of the new-found popularity of big band jazz composer/arranger Vezinho and trumpeter extraordinaire Ward lead a top-notch band of A.C. show performers through great originals and arrangements of classics by Ellington, Dorsey and more contemporary bands.
Limited free parking is available. A $5.00 minimum donation is suggested. Wheelchair accessible.
