Have Your Musical Questions Answered

OCEAN CITY – Get answers to any questions you have about classical music at the April installment of the free monthly music lectures by Paul M. Somers, sponsored by the Bay-Atlantic Symphony.
This month’s installment will be an opportunity to learn that one thing that you think everyone else knows, but you somehow missed. Questions must be submitted to Somers by the end of March by–either by e-mail at composer.lecturer@gmail.com or by phone at (856) 506-0580.
The lectures, which will take place in four counties, will occur on April 8, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., at the Ocean County Library, Little Egg Harbor Branch, 290 Mathistown Rd., Little Egg Harbor Township; April 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Ocean City Public Library, Room 110, 1735 Simpson Ave., Ocean City; April 15, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in the Community Event Room of the Vineland Public Library, 1058 E. Landis Ave., Vineland; and April 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Margate Public Library, 8100 Atlantic Ave., Margate.
This season’s lecture series will conclude with a Fresh Ears® experience in May, and suggestions will also be taken then for next season’s lecture topics.
Somers, Adult Education Director for the Bay-Atlantic Symphony, is a also a composer, performer, founder of Maurice River Music, was for 25 years the harpsichordist for the Virtuoso Strings of New York, and was a reviewer for the Star-Ledger.
