SEA ISLE CITY – May 4, 5 and 6, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization will host “Start the Season Golf Weekend,” a new event that is open to all players interested in golfing on Cape May County’s best courses.
During “Start the Season Golf Weekend,” registered participants will receive discounts at area golf courses, including Shore Gate, Sand Barrens, Avalon, The Pines at Clermont and Laguna Oaks Golf Clubs. Additionally, there will be low rates on lodging, food specials at local eateries, happy hour discounts and bargains at salons, boutiques, gift shops and other retailers throughout Sea Isle City. Each registered player will also receive a free golf towel and will be entered to win dinner for two and a free round of golf.
According to organizer Dan Otto, this new golfing event will be a big hit with anyone who enjoys being on the links, eating great food and taking advantage of shopping discounts.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun for men and women golfers alike, because there will be something for everyone,” said Otto. “This is a great opportunity to play on a new course and spend a relaxing weekend at the shore with friends.”
