WEST CAPE MAY – The Environmental Commission of West Cape May will present, “Big Miracle” a free family movie night Feb. 22, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the West Cape May Boro Hall, 732 Broadway in West Cape May. Free pizza will be served before the movie. To introduce the movie, join West Cape May naturalist, Louise Zemaitis, at 6 p.m. for a short program titled “A Whale of a Good Time”.
The featured environmentally friendly movie “Big Miracle” is inspired by the true story that captured the hearts of people across the world. It is a rescue adventure of the amazing tale of a small town news reporter (John Krasinski) and an animal-loving volunteer (Drew Barrymore) who are joined by rival world superpowers to save a family of majestic gray whales trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle.
