NORTH WILDWOOD – You might say the season’s half over. But if you’re an optimist, you’ll know that half the season of free Concerts under the Stars is just waiting for you to come out and enjoy.
Mayor Bill Henfey said, “This is the best bargain at the beach—it’s free and it’s great!”
All concerts take place at Lou Booth Amphitheater, Second and Ocean avenues beginning at 8 p.m.

Thursday, July 29—Jimmy & the Parrots
Grab your beach chair and your suntan oil, and get ready for a trip to the tropics with the ultimate Jimmy Buffett Tribute. Jimmy and the Parrots will perform all the Buffett songs you love, as well as new and classic Rock ‘n Roll. By turns, you’ll think you’re listening to the Beach Boys, Paul Simon, and Bob Marley. Yea Mon!
Saturday, July 31-The Manhattan Dolls–Famous Female Groups Tribute
World War II had its own music and its girl groups that entertained the troops around the world. The Andrew Sisters epitomized the music of that period, and more recently, Bette Midler found and nourished it. Now, some former USO gals have gotten together with a show that evokes all the memories of that wonderful time-songs like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Rum and Coca Cola,” “Jeepers Creepers,” “Heart of Glass.”
