Free Concerts, Other Weekly Events will Entertain Families all Summer in Sea Isle City

SEA ISLE CITY — Sea Isle City’s annual line-up of weekly summer events will delight families in search of free entertainment. From Sat. Night Concerts to Family Dance Parties – there are many enjoyable activities waiting for vacationers in Sea Isle City this year.
Most of the City’s weekly family events take place at the Excursion Park Band Shell, JFK Boulevard and the Beach, including the popular Family Dance Parties with D.J. Jeff, which feature a variety of dance hits on Mon. and Thurs. evenings, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., June 29 to Sept. 3 (609-263-8687).
On Tues. mornings, a weekly Farmers Market, hosted by the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization, will feature fresh produce, crafts and other items at Excursion Park from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., June 23 to Sep. 1 (609-263-9090).
Also at Excursion Park, Sea Isle’s free Movies Under the Stars begin at dusk each Tues. evening from June 30 to Sept. 1, hosted by the City’s Division of Tourism. This summer’s line-up of movies includes:
June 30: “Paddington”
July 7: “The Boxtrolls”
July 14: “Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July”
July 21: “The Lego Movie”
July 28: “Earth to Echo”
Aug. 4: “Planes – Fire and Rescue”
Aug. 11: “Maleficent”
Aug. 18: “Dolphin Tale 2”
Aug. 25: “Annie: It’s the Hard Knock Life” (2014)
Sept. 2: “Cinderella” (2015)
Starting June 26, the Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization’s “Sea Isle City’s Got Talent” contests will take place on Fri. evenings at the Band Shell, where an impressive line-up of amateur performers will compete for cash prizes – and the chance to advance to the event’s Grand Finale on August 21 (www.seaislecitysgottalent.com).
Sea Isle’s free Concerts Under the Stars, hosted by the resort’s Division of Tourism, take place each Saturday Night at the Excursion Park Band Shell, 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. This year’s line-up of bands includes:

June 27: Lights Out (Four Seasons Tribute)
July 4: The Atlantic Pops Orchestra
NOTE: the July 4th concert takes place from 7:30-9:00 p.m., followed by the City’s annual Independence Day Fireworks Show; Rain Date: July 5.

July 18: BSTREETBAND (Bruce Springsteen Tribute)
July 25: The Glimmer Twins (Rolling Stones Tribute)

Spectators are reminded to bring folding chairs and blankets to Sea Isle’s concerts, movies and talent contests in order to spread-out on the lawn at Excursion Park.
