Festive Event to Be Held Inside Cape May Ferry Terminal Dec. 21

CAPE MAY — Dec. 21 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., Santa and all his friends will once again visit the Cape May terminal of the Cape May – Lewes Ferry. The event, which is sponsored by the Lower Township Recreation Department and the Cape May – Lewes Ferry, is free of charge. The Cape May Ferry Terminal is located on Sandman Blvd in North Cape May, New Jersey.
“Ferry Merry Christmas is a great community event that has grown in popularity over the years,” said Jennifer Shivers, customer service supervisor at the Cape May- Lewes Ferry. “We have a boatload of family fun activities planned and the smiles on the children’s faces make it a can’t-miss event!”
Santa and his Sleigh will be situated in the terminal rotunda so children can listen to classic Christmas carols and make that special request of jolly old St. Nick. Santa noted not to forget your camera. In the Gallery, children ages 3 to 9 can visit Santa’s Workshop and partake in wintry arts and crafts. They can then head to the Sunset Lounge for those special Christmas games and win prizes at the Winter Carnival!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! On the Skywalk, children can check out the Balloonatic and even get their faces painted at the North Window.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the terminal’s Food Court. Food and retail services will be provided to all guests, including some kid friendly specials. Additionally, there will be a Naughty or Nice Hot Chocolate Bar next to the inside terminal bar. The Nice side will provide hot chocolate or apple cider to all guests, and the naughty side will be for guests 21 and older who would enjoy an adult hot chocolate, cider or coffee drink
