Feb. 2
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Art Workshop- Painting in a Day
Ages 16+
Create and finish a Van Gogh style self-portrait painting in a few hours using acrylic paint on canvas. All supplies are included in this workshop. There will be a one-hour lunch break from 12 to 1 p.m. The instructor will be at the library Feb. 2 between 10 and 10:30 a.m. to review subject photos with participants. Complete Your Memoirs: A 4-week Workshop
You’ve come this far so why not continue? If you’re serious about finishing what you started, come back for another four weeks in the memoir writing series. These four weeks are about making every sentence the very best you can turn out. We’ll discuss outlining each snapshot using the “Disturbance/Coping/Resolution” model, setting the scene in your memoirs, using the tools of curiosity and suspense, selecting the perfect words, coming up with a title for your project, bringing your memoir to a close, and finally, utilizing an “Editing and Polishing” checklist. Joe Fischer’s Fantasy, Illusion and Magic
Celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by attending a fun, educational program offered by magician Joe Fischer. Joe will present his “Fantasy, Illusion and Magic,” mixing magic with learning about biographies, autobiographies and the Dewey Decimal system. Fun for all ages.

Magic Tricks Workshop
Celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day with a Magic Workshop. Magician Joe Fischer will teach a 45-minute workshop by demonstrating tricks and helping participants practice them. Windows 8 Hands-On: Photo Editing & Management

Computer Class- Website Design Software for the Beginner
This class will begin as a presentation explaining Dreamweaver, HTML, website hosting and domain name selection. Instructor will also discuss simpler alternatives to Dreamweaver. Computer Class- Google Drive and the Cloud
This class will give you an overview of all Cloud computing options like iCloud, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Participants will look in detail at Google Drive vs. Apple iCloud to understand the difference. Open to both Apple and PC users. Jewelry Workshop- Gemstone Bracelets with Paige Cunningham
In this class, we will learn to create one-of-a-kind bracelets using a variety of beads, gemstones, and wire. Windows 8 Hands-On: Word 2013 & Productivity
Windows 8 offers a host of programs to help keep yourself productive and organized. This class will teach the basics on the most popular programs, such as Word 2013, OneNote, Evernote, Prism and others. Registration is required by calling 609-967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.
