AVALON – The Avalon Free Public Library will be holding an assortment of activites and events starting July 16 thru July 19.
Creative Writing at the Avalon Library – Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to Noon
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold a free Creative Writing class from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, July 16. The sessions are led by Dr. Sue Jacobson. Participants have the option of recording their writings for use as MP3 files posted onto our website.

Knitting Instruction at the Avalon Library – Monday, July 18 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm
The Avalon Free Public Library hosts a Knitting instruction group every Monday from 3:30 to 4:30pm at the library. All levels of knitters are welcome.

Music Appreciation Lecture at the Avalon Library – Monday, July 18 at 6:30pm
The Avalon Free Public Library will present a Music Appreciation Lecture on Monday, July 18 at 6:30pm. The topic will be Dixieland Big Band. No registration is required and the program is free and open to the public.

Digital Photography Class at the Avalon Library – Tuesday, July 19 from 5:30 to 7:30pm
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold a Digital Photography Class on Tuesday, July 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Learn how to take better pictures and how to print them. Registration is required by calling 609-967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.

Matinee Movie at the Avalon Library-Tuesday, July 19 at 2pm
The Avalon Free Public Library will be showing Rango, starring Johnny Depp, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19 in the Multipurpose room at the elementary school. This film is rated PG. Admission is free.
