CAPE MAY —If you love the impossible, then don’t miss Cape May Stage’s spellbinding “Intimate Evening of Grand Parlor Magic” featuring magicians Michael Russell Walsh and Johnny Mass.
On Mon., Sept. 13 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse, Mass and Walsh will mystify minds with their unique blend of sleight of hand magic and comedy. Join them inside the beautiful Victorian setting of the Cape May Stage, while they take you and your family on a magical journey reminiscent of the golden era of magic when conjurors entertained high society in parlor rooms fit for kings.
During the past three years, magicians Walsh and Mass have performed their magic all over the tri-state area at schools and private parties in Philadelphia to regional performing arts centers including Atlantic City’s Houdini Theater. Walsh and Mass are thrilled to bring “An Intimate Evening of Grand Parlor Magic” to Cape May audiences for the second time after last year’s New Year’s show.
Hailing from the Midwest in the village of Wintersville, Ohio, Walsh has been entertaining since 1974 and has brought his unique style of magic to the forefront of his art. Walsh is a member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians, The Society of American Magicians and the Delaware Knights of Magic and has performed in all types of venues across the Mid-Atlantic States.
Starting as a children’s performer, Walsh’s co-star Johnny Mass has quickly proven to be a rising star in magic, as well. A New Jersey native, Johnny has been wowing audiences with his wonderful blend of magic and comedy for over 15 years.
With charming glances and contagious smiles, Walsh and Mass will mystify minds with their brand of magical effects. Whether audiences see their unbelievable magic at close range or witness their stunning stage show, remember: what is…may not be!
