Duffy String Band & Tromba Mundi Coming to Cape May

CAPE MAY — Two exciting acts are making their way to the Cape May Convention Hall on Saturday and Sunday. Feathers will fly when the Duffy String Band struts into Cape May Convention Hall Saturday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Performance highlights will include lively music, the famous “Mummers Strut,” and of course, the beautiful costumes and props that have made the Mummers a beloved Philly tradition. Members of the audience will be invited to show their skills, so be prepared to get up and join the fun.
Critically acclaimed trumpet ensemble Tromba Mundi will play at Cape May Convention Hall on Sun., Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m. Comprising “some of the best players in the nation,” Tromba Mundi musicians have performed with the Cincinnati Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Chicago Symphony, Summit Brass, New Mexico Philharmonic, and Brevard Orchestra, as well as various jazz ensembles, chamber ensembles, and commercial recording work. Several Tromba Mundi members also have critically acclaimed solo recordings.
