OCEAN CITY — One of the highlights of the Doo Dah Weekend, albeit a tad messy, is the PieAsco, an event held immediately following the Doo Dah Parade in front of the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace, on April 14.
Doo Dah enthusiasts sit in grand stands armed with shaving cream pies. When the signal is given by Trudy Sales, wife of the late, famed comedian Soupy Sales, folks smoosh each other in the face with shaving cream pies, the kind Soupy used on his popular TV show.
All PieAscoites are presented a certificate offically declaring they were smooshed. Would you like to be smooshed or be a smoosher?
