Culture & Heritage to Host Artist Reception and Exhibit

By Sponsored Content

COURT HOUSE — The Cape May County Culture and Heritage Commission invites the public to a Meet the Artist reception on April 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Local artist Cheryl Crews will discuss her exhibit Earth, Sea and Sky, at the Commission’s Beesley House Gallery, 605 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House (Swainton), just south of the Cape May County Park & Zoo.
This exhibit features Crew’s paintings, sketches and related writing and will be on display for the month of April. The works express the artist’s perspectives inspired by explorations of the Jersey Cape landscape including barrier islands, wetlands and the Delaware Bay beaches. The exhibit will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in April from 1 to 4 p.m.
For more information, please contact the Cape May County Division of Culture & Heritage by email at culture@co.cape-may.nj.us or by phone at 609-463-6415. The Beesley House is handicapped accessible and the reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
