Craig McManus Presents a Paranormal Weekend Beginning Friday the 13th

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – Friday the 13th may actually be your lucky day if you are a fan of the paranormal. On Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14, Cape May’s famous psychic medium, paranormal investigator and author, Craig McManus, in association with the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), will host a dinner and discussion on the ghosts of Cape May, take you on a tour past haunted residences, and conduct a paranormal investigation inside the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate during a paranormal weekend in the nation’s first seaside resort.
Visit the Carriage House Tearoom & Café, located on the grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, for Dinner with the Ghostwriter on Friday, May 13 at 7 p.m. Your host for the evening, Craig McManus, will discuss everything you ever wanted to know about ghosts, but were afraid to ask. Phantom footsteps, cold spots, ghostly noises from the attic, unexplainable feelings that you are not alone, are all garden-variety symptoms of a true haunting. Have you been haunted? Too afraid to think about it? Fear no more! Craig McManus will take you on a spine-tingling journey down the paranormal lane during a special presentation and three course dinner at the Carriage House Tearoom & Café. Learn about ghosts and hauntings from Cape May’s most famous psychic medium and ghost writer, author of four books on the paranormal happenings at America’s oldest seaside resort. Hear about some of Craig’s favorite haunts in Cape May, and some of his most memorable ghostly experiences. He will also discuss how he works as a medium, explaining the difference between communicating with ghosts and channeling spirits of loved ones, and will introduce his upcoming book, an autobiographical look at his life growing up psychic. This is a limited event, reserve early! Admission is $50 per person and includes a three course dinner.
Later that evening, on Friday, May 13, take A Ride with the Ghostwriter. Board a MAC trolley with Craig McManus and ride through the haunted streets of Cape May. Craig will talk about ghosts and spirits, the history of the houses where he has sensed activity and legends of ghost activity in Cape May. The tour is at 9:30 p.m. and costs $25 per person. The trolley will depart from the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St.
When it’s “witching hour” in Cape May on Friday, May 13, make sure you join Craig McManus for Midnight at the Physick Estate. 25 lucky people will get to spend midnight in the haunted Physick Estate with author and ghost investigator Craig McManus. Craig will share his experiences and perhaps channel a spirit or two at 11 p.m. Admission is $35 per person. Sorry, this event is SOLD OUT! Look for more dates coming later in 2011 and reserve early!
Dare to take A Walk with the Ghost Writer on Saturday, May 14 at 8:45 p.m. Author and psychic medium Craig McManus will lead a one-hour walking tour through the haunted streets of Cape May. Discover some of the most haunted buildings in Cape May as Craig discusses the paranormal activity he has experienced at a variety of properties along the way. Admission is $25 per person and the tour begins at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth, Washington and Ocean streets.
