County Veterans’ and Military Art Exhibit to be Display in November

COURT HOUSE – An art exhibit featuring the works of veterans and other military representatives will be on display during the month of November. The Cape May County Veterans’ and Military Art Exhibit will be on display for public viewing at the Thomas Beesley House located at 605 Route 9 in Cape May Court House, New Jersey on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. from Nov. 2 through Nov. 30, 2014.
The public is invited to attend an opening reception for the Veterans’ and Military Art exhibit Nov. 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Thomas Beesley House. Additionally, a reception will be held for veterans and members of the military Nov. 16 also from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Thomas Beesley House.
In honor of Veterans’ Day, county veterans and military have contributed their talents to this exhibit. The exhibit includes paintings, sculpture, photography and textiles. Freeholder Hayes said, “We hope you will visit the exhibit and enjoy the art created by our service members and help us to honor all who served their country this Veterans’ Day.”
