COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Library invites children and their caregivers to a performance of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” presented by the Hampstead Stage Company at 6:30 p.m. on Tues., Dec. 20. The program will take place at the Main library located at 30 W. Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House.
C.S. Lewis’s classic finds four siblings, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy transported through a magical wardrobe to the land of Narnia. The children join the colorful creatures of Narnia in combating an evil witch who has cast a perpetual winter across the land. Through this story, we hope to encourage the students to stand up for what is right and help those around them.
The Hampstead Stage Company has been providing entertainment and education to young audiences for twenty-eight seasons. For more information on the Hampstead Stage Company visit their website at http://www.hampsteadstage.org/index.html.
No registration is required for this event. For additional information, please contact the Children’s Room at (609) 463-6354 or visit online at www.cmclibrary.org.
