County Library Announces Teen Photography Contest Winners

COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Freeholder Leonard Desiderio and the Library Commission are pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 Teen Photography Contest “A Different Perspective” sponsored by the Cape May County Library and Sturdy Savings Bank. The contest was open to all teens from twelve to eighteen years old.
The public is invited to attend an Awards Ceremony on Saturday, August 20th at 1 p.m. at the Main Branch of the Library, 30 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ. Light refreshments will be served.
The winning photographs are available to view online at www.cmclibrary.org.

Grand Prize: Best Photograph Overall:

Cape May County:
1st Place: “Kaleidoscope Skies” by Haley Bowden, Strathmere
2nd Place: “Boats in the Snow” by Emily Rutter, Petersburg
3rd Place: “Ferris Wheel in Wildwood” by Elizabeth Peterson, Cape May
Judge’s Pick: “Ferris Wheel in Ocean City” by Jordan Sedotti, Wildwood Crest
Honorable Mention: “Fishing Stone” by Joe Scioli, Cape May Court House
