COURT HOUSE –
County Library Offers 4-H Cloverbuds Youth Development Program –
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 5-8, to register for a workshop hosted by Cape May County’s 4-H Foundation. The program will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 16. It will take place at the Lower Cape Branch library, located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Children ages 5-8 are invited to a workshop hosted by Cape May County’s 4-H Foundation. Each month, there will be hands-on activities to introduce children to a wide variety of 4-H project experiences. Parents and guardians encouraged to attend with their children. Pre-registration is required, please call the Cape May County 4-H Office at 465-5115 x605.

County Library Hosts BONK!: A Drum and Percussion Workshop –
Cape May Court House – The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 4-10, to BONK! A Drum and Percussion Workshop to be held at 1:00 p.m. April 18. The workshop will take place at the Main branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Kids 4-10 will have fun ‘expressing’ themselves with this interactive one hour program as they are introduced to drums and percussion instruments from around the world. Participants will learn about musical dynamics and ‘talk’ to each other using drums and create the sounds of a super cool rain forest using exotic percussive instruments! Space is limited and registration is required.

The Cape May County Library invites kids ages 2-5 and their caregivers to attend a Family Dance Party to be held April 13 at 10:00 a.m. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Kids ages 2-5 and their caregivers are invited to come show off their dance skills at the Court House Library! Put on your dancing shoes, bring your family and join us for a fun interactive program featuring music, movement and more!

County Library Hosts Family Movies –
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 6-12, and their families to attend our Family Movie program. One screening will be held at 6:00 p.m. April 17 at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House. A second screening will be held at 1:30 p.m. April 25 at the Lower Cape Branch of the Library, located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Kids, ages 6-12, and their families are invited to watch this month’s featured film on our big screen with surround sound! Watch the movie, enjoy snacks and drinks, and relax for free at your library! This month’s film is rated PG.

County Library Hosts a Homeschool Social –
The Cape May County Library invites families to a Homeschool Social to be held at 10:30 a.m. April 17. The program will take place at the Lower Cape Branch of the library, located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
The Lower Cape Library invites all families in the area who homeschool their children to a monthly social. Each month, we will explore a different subject area with stories and activities for the children. We will also provide books for further reading, and demonstrate databases and internet sources you can access from your home computer.

County Library Hosts Rainbow Loom Club –
The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 10-18, to join us for Rainbow Loom Club. The program will be held at 3:30 p.m. April 14. It will take place at the Lower Cape Branch of the Library located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Learn new patterns for the Rainbow Loom and meet with friends at the Rainbow Loom Club, a monthly meeting for ages 10-18. Bring your own loom and bands, or use ours.

County Library Hosts Animals of the Bay: Shorebirds and Horseshoe Crabs –
The Cape May County Library invites children of all ages and their families to “Animals of the Bay: Shorebirds and Horseshoe Crabs” to take place at 1:00 p.m. April 11. The program will take place at the Lower Cape Branch of the library, located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Delaware’s Bayshore is host to one of nature’s most incredible stories- spawning horseshoe crabs and the spring migration of shorebirds. Learn more about these amazing animals with interactive stories, crafts, and ways you can help them. Sponsored by the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences.

County Library Hosts Crafternoons –
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 4-12, to take part in Crafternoons to be held at 2:30 April 6, 7, 8, and 9. The programs will all take place at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
The library welcomes young crafters, ages 4-12, to create a take home craft project during our Crafternoons. Join us 2:30-4:30 in the Children’s Room for a different craft each day. In honor of Earth Day this month, we’ll be using old books and other recycled materials to make new works of art!

County Library Hosts Family Board Game Night –
The Cape May County Library invites children and their families to attend Family Board Game Night, starting at 5:30 p.m. April 29. The program will take place at the Lower Cape Branch library located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Bring the whole family to play board games at the Lower Cape Library! We’ll meet once a month with a selection of board games and card games, from Scrabble to Uno, Life to Checkers.

County Library Hosts Homeschool LEGO Club –
The Cape May County Library invites kids ages 4-12 to our Homeschool LEGO Club to be held at 10:00 a.m. April 9. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Kids age 4 to 12 years old are invited to join our LEGO Club! The Homeschool Lego Club will meet the second Thursday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Each meeting will have a theme. We’ll read a book to get ideas about what to construct and then build, build, build! Parents are encouraged to stay through the meetings; you can build with your children or network with other parents

County Library Hosts LEGO Club –
The Cape May County Library invites children ages 5 to 12 years old and their caregivers to attend our LEGO Clubs. LEGO Club will be held at four of the library’s branches throughout April.
In order to develop a theme for each meeting, we’ll read books to get ideas about what to construct and then bring out the LEGOs and build, build, build! Parents are encouraged to stay through the meetings and build with their kids.

County Library Hosts Tween Game Day –
The Cape May County Library invites tweens, ages 10-14, to join us for Tween Game Day. This event will take place at 3:30 p.m. April 23. The event will be held at the Lower Cape Branch of the Library located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Tweens, ages 10-14, are invited to the Lower Cape Library to play board games, card games, and Wii games. Snacks will be served.
