CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The all-new Country Club Tavern will host its Grand Reopening party Saturday, June 4. The festivities kick off at 3pm featuring three live bands, plenty of free giveaways, Cat Country Radio live on location, and the Jeremiah Weed models. Owner Russ Buckingham hopes everyone will come out and see the renovations.
“Cape May County didn’t have a real Country Bar, so we feel we’re filling a niche”, Russ said.
The building has been completely redone inside and out with a County-Western theme. The new dining area seats about 50. The booths are decorated in new theme and sport some very cool bucket lamps overhead. The packaged goods section has been expanded and moved to the front of the building where you will find “the coldest beer in the county”. Of course all of your favorites are on tap behind the bar.
The new menu features specialty sandwiches and burgers, along with old favorites such as the famous CCT wings and cheesesteaks. A children’s menu is available for the Little Buckaroos and there are dinner specials nightly. Monday is Meatball Parm, Tuesday is Taco Night with live entertainment, Wednesday is Wings and QUIZZO, and Thursday is Cheesesteak night. There is also live entertainment on Saturdays and happy hour specials daily. Check out CCT on Marketplace for all the specials.
The live entertainment at CCT will feature country music, as well as rock bands. “We don’t want people to think we are strictly country. We have rocks bands in the line up too. Something for everyone,” Russ said.
CCT is also a great spot to catch your favorite hometown sporting events. You can enjoy some great food, cold beer, and a unique atmosphere while you watch the game on one of 10 new flat screen TVs.

Cape May County – I’d like to suggest to the Herald that they leverage spout offs draw and replace some of the ads for their paper with a few paid ads that you probably can charge a little extra for. Lots of people…
