LOWER TOWNSHIP – Discover new music and pair it with amazing wine at Hawk Haven Vineyard’s Rootstock concert series! The sun setting behind the vineyard provides the perfect backdrop for a fun Friday night at Hawk Haven. Named for the essential part of the grape vine, Rootstock combines beautiful vineyard ambiance and intimate performances by world-class musicians. Grab a seat at one of our picnic tables or kick back on a blanket beside the vines. The show is about to start!
Rootstock Vineyard Concert Series is a feast for the senses, offering great music, stunning vineyard sunsets, and Hawk Haven wines and the Guerrilla Ultima food truck featuring Argentinean Steak Pinchos, Rock Shrimp Guacamole, Barbeque Pork Belly, and more. Relax under the stars as you listen to live music from talented up-and-coming singer-songwriters and musicians on a stage built from an old flat-bed truck.
The Rootstock concert series will begin on July 10, when the Infidel Castros take the stage. The band is made up of Joe Castro on guitar, banjo and percussion, Ann Castro sings vocals and plays, guitar and cello, David “Goody” Goodrich on acoustic and electric guitar and Daisy Castro on violin, cello, and harmony vocals. They are known for a musical style called Jazz Manouche or gypsy jazz, which combines elements of swing, dance hall music and folk songs.
The concerts will also be held on July 24, August 7, August 21 and September 4. Tickets are $5 per person for each concert. Join us for our sunset vineyard tour, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ($12) and live music begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 9:30 p.m. Visitors can pack a beach chair, blanket or their own snacks for the event.
