OCEAN CITY – The OC Tabernacle signed CoastalRise and Benjamin Dunn and the Animal Orchestra for a summer concert. They will be coming to the Ocean City Music Pier July 6. The Glenn Taylor Band is to open for these two fun and enthusiastic groups.
Last year, CoastalRise played at five of the nation’s largest festivals. This summer’s schedule is filled with shows and festival performances.
CoastalRise released their second album “Call of the Sea” in March. Their passion-filled lyrics in combination with their beachy vibe is appealing and inspiring to all ages, and fans of all genres.
Benjamin Dunn & the Animal Orchestra will be sharing from their new album “Fable” which draws on the works of C.S. Lewis for inspiration and achieves a rare fusion of innocence and sophistication. Fable takes listeners on a journey into the mysteries and revelations of faith.
Not only is Benjamin Dunn’s passion for art and music, but for his ministry, the Joy Revolution. He and his wife recently finished a long-time dream of creating an orphanage and home for children from the shanty towns and leper colonies in India. It is known as the “Joy House”.
More locally known and warmly embraced, The Glenn Taylor Band will bring in what has been described as “a combination of acoustic surf blues with a folksy harmonica.”
