WILDWOOD CREST — The Wildwood Crest Centennial Summer Music Series continues Sat., July 17 as Liberation, a Chicago tribute band, performs on the new entertainment pavilion at Centennial Park at 7:30 p.m.
A Philadelphia-based band, Liberation performs many of Chicago’s hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s, including “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is,” “Beginnings,” “25 or 6 to 4” and much more. In addition, Liberation also covers the hits of many other horn bands from the same era.
Saturday’s all-ages show is free and open to the entire family. Those attending the show should bring a blanket or a chair.
Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue (6601 Ocean), just steps away from the beautiful beaches of Wildwood Crest. Free parking is available two blocks away at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.
In the event of inclement weather, the show will be held inside the Crest Pier Recreation Center at 5800 Ocean Avenue.
Live free concerts are held in Wildwood Crest each Monday (at Crest Pier), Wednesday (at Centennial Park) and Saturday (at Centennial Park) through late August.
