CCA Offers Art Camps for All Ages

CAPE MAY — The Center for Community Arts holds summer art camps in Cape May and Lower Township for all ages.
Kids Arts Camp for ages 5–9 will be held at the Cape May Elementary School, 921 Lafayette St., from 9 a.m.-noon, Monday through Friday from June 28 to Aug. 6.
YAP Summer Arts Camp is for ages 10–14 at the Cape May Elementary School and Lower Township Recreation Center from 9 a.m.– noon Monday through Friday from June 28 to Aug. 20.
While not an arts camp, Art at the Library for ages 6-10is being held at the Cape May Library, Ocean and Hughes streets. Kids can create a work of art inspired by a book. Art at the library is free.
CCA’s summer youth arts camps are composed of week-long projects with a new theme each week. The cost per week is $90 with a four-week package of $325 for the Cape May camps. The Lower Township camp is free to residents.
Summer 2010 Art for Adults Classes are back with Drawing, Experimental Watercolors and Poetry classes. All adult classes are held at the Cape May Elementary School, 921 Lafayette Street. The adult art classes start July 2.
