CCA Offers ‘Art at the Library’ at Five Area Libraries

COURT HOUSE – Art at the Library is a free weekly program for children ages 6-10. The program brings literacy and art together in a fun and creative way. The children are read a book and then do an art project based on the ideas or illustrations in the book. The children have fun while learning new techniques and trying different mediums. The projects vary from week to week and include painting, drawing, collage and sculpture. Paige Cunningham of West Cape May teaches the program at the following branches of the Cape May County Library:
Cape May City, 110 Ocean Street, 
Cape May – Thursdays 3:30- 4:30 p.m.
Lower Township, 2600 Bayshore Rd., 
Villas – Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Wildwood Crest, 6301 Ocean Ave
., Wildwood Crest – Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Sea Isle City, 4800 Central Ave., 
Sea Isle City – Mondays 4-5 p.m.
Janet McShain of Dennisville, teaches the program at Woodbine, 800 Monroe Avenue
