CAPE MAY – Children have fun during kid-themed luncheons at the Carriage House Café & Tearoom on the grounds of Cape May’s Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. This summer Princesses & Pirates Luncheons and Teddy Bear Tea Parties return, some of the many fun family events sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC). Princesses & Pirates Luncheons feature princess dress-up and etiquette tips for the girls, and pirate gear, pirate walking and balloon swords for the boys. There’s a story, too! Princesses & Pirates Luncheons are Fridays at 11:30 a.m. from July 11 through Aug. 22. $23 for adults; $15 for children includes lunch. Honey Bear and Cocoa Bear would love to join you during Teddy Bear Tea Parties, featuring kid-friendly menus and teddy bear music. Purchase a favorite Cape May Teddy Bear Co.® bear at the Carriage House Museum shop, with dozens of outfits available and enjoy tea together. Teddy Bear Tea Parties are June 28 at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and on Sundays, July 6 through Aug. 24 at 12 p.m. $23 for adults; $15 for children includes lunch.
