WILDWOOD CREST — The first United Methodist Church of Wildwood Crest will sponsor an antique, classic, street rod and muscle car show on Sat. Aug. 7, on the church parking lot located at Fern Road and Atlantic Avenue.
The show begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. with trophies awarded in the following categories: Best of show; Best pre- war, (WWII); Best post war (WWII); Best muscle car; Best street rod and Peoples’ choice.
A hot dog BBQ will also be available with sodas, bottled water and Philly pretzels for sale. The event is a “community outreach” of the church and a fundraiser. Admission to the show for spectators is free. All are welcomed.
Entry fee for car owners is $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show.
Car driver will receive a complimentary hot dog and soda as part of their entry fee. Checks to should be made payable to the church and mailed to: Show chairman Bob Patterson c/o church at 7600 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260.
Entrance to the parking lot is from Fern Road.
