Cape May Stage Presents ‘Joyful Ringers’ Bell Choir Concert

CAPE MAY – In the spirit of the season, Cape May Stage, South Jersey’s premier Equity theatre, is delighted to present a holiday concert performance by the Joyful Ringers, the First Presbyterian Church’s Bell Choir, at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on Mon., Dec. 19 at 8 p.m.
Perfect for the young and the young at heart, this theatrical concert warms up the Robert Shackleton Playhouse with the music of the holiday season. This seasonal crowd-pleaser will faithfully delight with a magical mix of Christmas classics, beloved sing-alongs, and popular holiday standards. Directed by Betsey Heegard and featuring Gretchen Sorenson on flute and Jane Sbarra on piano, the Joyful Ringers will perform a range of songs such as Celtic Noel and Angel’s Carol in addition to popular favorites such as Winter Wonderland, Jingle Bell Rock, Carol of the Bells, and a narrated version of Silent Night featuring Cape May Stage’s Artistic Director Roy Steinberg. Make the magic of the bells part of your holiday tradition this season.
Part of Cape May Stage’s Second Stage Series, the Joyful Ringers will appear Mon., Dec. 19 at 8 p.m. at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse at the corner of Bank and Lafayette Streets in downtown Cape May.
