Cape May Stage Hosts Billy Joel Brunch

By Sponsored Content

CAPE MAY – At eleven o’clock on a Sunday, get together your best impression of a “Piano Man” and come to Cape May Stage’s A Sunday Brunch, featuring the music of Billy Joel. On Oct. 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the piazza of the Robert Shackleton Playhouse, the Cape May Stage Board of Directors and staff invite you to come “Just the Way You Are” in celebration of one of music’s great icons.
Show what a “Big Shot” you are by taking the stage with local karaoke host Terry O’Brien and his live band to perform your favorite Billy Joel tunes and embody “The Entertainer” himself. But it’s not “All About Soul”. A bounty of complimentary brunch favorites and decadent desserts will be offered. And be sure to remember “Only the Good Die Young” while you sip on the classic cocktails of Bellinis and Bloody Marys.
But that’s not all. Be sure to “Go to Extremes” and bid on our secret live auction prize – the details of which will be revealed exclusively to guests at the event. Or if that’s too much “Pressure,” buy tickets to participate in the 50/50 cash raffle. And remember the more tickets you buy, the better your chances and the bigger the prize!
So don’t get stuck in “No Man’s Land”. Grab your “Uptown Girl” and “Tell Her About It” because “This is the Time”. You’ll be “An Angry Young Man” if you miss out on it!
The celebration begins at 11:00 a.m. in the piazza of the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on the corner of Lafayette and Bank Streets on Oct. 6. Tickets are $50 and proceeds support the ongoing artistic, cultural and educational programs at Cape May Stage – a non-profit company that has been performing Equity theatre in Cape May for the past 25 years. Reservations are needed by October 1. Visit capemaystage.org or call (609) 770-8311 for tickets and more information.
