Cape May MAC Tours & Events Resume

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) resumed its regular schedule of tours and activities in Cape May.
“We are extremely thankful that Cape May came through Hurricane Sandy safely and that none of our historic sites sustained any damage,” said MAC Director Michael Zuckerman. “We have been working with the City of Cape May and our partners, as well as cleaning up the estate grounds quickly from storm debris and trees that were damaged; we are now ready to open up again for business.
The Emlen Physick Estate, the Cape May Lighthouse, Cape May Trolley Tours and the World War II Lookout Tower are all ready for visitors, and we have been very busy contacting individuals who have been inquiring about MAC events this weekend.”
Our warmest wishes for a speedy recovery go out to those who have suffered from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, and we sincerely thank those who sent us their best wishes for our safe passage through this storm.”
