Cape May is ‘Touched By Evil’

By Rick Racela

CAPE MAY – “That’s crazy. You can hear footsteps and voices. It smells over here now…”
That smell was a perfume smell.
This incident was captured on film for an episode of “Ghost Hunters,” a popular show on the SyFy Channel which aired at 9 p.m. on March 31st.
The episode is titled “Touched by Evil” where the Ghost Hunter team is hunting for unwelcome residents at the Southern Mansion, 720 Washington Street, Cape May.
Built as a summer home during the civil war, today it is an Inn that allegedly has a few guests that aren’t checking in at the front desk.
The team detected cold spots, which are anomalous areas of a lower temperature. Many people believe that a paranormal entity can draw the thermal energey from the air to manifest itself.
Whether you are sold or skeptical, the full episode will be available next Thursday, April 7, at the Ghost Hunter website.
