Cape May County Park & Zoo Announces New Fall Programs

By Sponsored Content

A brand new class for toddlers ages two and three, dubbed “Knee High Naturalists,” is planned to begin September 8, with crafts, story time, and special visits from real live animals. This class is designed for the parent (not just mom) and child to learn about animals and nature at your amazing Zoo and will be held on Monday from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. The four week session will cost $40 and has a class limit of ten children, so register early.
In addition to our toddlers programs, the Education Staff at the Zoo is introducing a Saturday Morning Kids Camp called “Wake Up Wild” for children age’s five to seven. Campers will play games, meet new animals, make crafts, and explore your Zoo behind the scenes. They will have wild encounters like you’ve never imagined. “Wake Up Wild” is scheduled for Saturday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. for four weeks beginning October 25 with a registration fee of $60. Class is filling up fast, with a class limit of 15 campers.
Looking for a new spot to get some exercise? Join our “Stroller Safari Walking Club” today! Bring the kids in strollers, just yourself or grandmom too, and stroll the 87 awesome acres of your local Zoo before it opens. Experience the magic of the animals in the morning like you’ve never seen before while sneaking in your daily fitness. Children are free but must be in a stroller while the adults take part in 1 or 2 mile loops. Directional signs and maps will be available upon entry. This program kicks off Thursday, 9 –10 a.m., September 11 and will be $20 for a four visit punch card.
For more information please call 609-465-5271 or stop in the Administration Office at the Park and Zoo at 707 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House.
