Cape May City Library Holds Art Classes for Children

CAPE MAY – The Cape May County Library invites children ages 6 to 10 and their caretakers to enjoy “Art at the Library.” The program, sponsored by Cape May Center for Community Arts, will take place at the Cape May City Library located at Ocean and Hughes Streets in Cape May at 3:30 p.m. Thursdays, January 20 and 27, February 3, 10 and 17, March 10, 17, 24 and 31, April 7, 28 and May 5, 12, 19 and 26.
Activities combine literature and art. Each week a new art medium will be explored to re-create a page from a book. Parental participation is welcomed.
The Cape May Center for Community Arts is a multi-cultural education organization whose art and humanity programs foster creativity, community building and appreciation for the rich diversity of our world.
Registration and a valid library card are required to attend. Please call 884-9568 or register online at www.cmclibrary.org.
