CAPE MAY – To kick off the unofficial start of the summer season, Cape May announces a weekend of family friendly events:
Cape May brings you the chance to hear the unique and resonant voice of country music legend, Crystal Gayle. Her performance will be on Saturday, May 23 at 8 p.m. at Cape May Convention Hall. Be sure not to miss this one time performance from the ‘timeless classic,” Crystal Gayle. On Sunday, May 24, enjoy a day of shopping at the Crafts and Antiques show sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts. The Crafts and Antiques show will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cape May Convention Hall. Sunday evening enjoy a free family concert under the stars at Rotary Park on Lyle Lane. The concert begins at 8 p.m. and features the Atlantic Brass Band.
Join Cape May in remembering and honoring those who have served our country by attending the Annual Memorial Day Service being held Monday, May 25 at 11 a.m. at Cape May Convention Hall. Following the service there will be a live remote broadcast from noon to 2 p.m. at Cape May Convention Hall by WOND to discuss the upcoming summer season.
Then cap off your holiday weekend with a free concert occurring Monday, May 25 featuring the award winning New Spirit Gospel Choir from Wiesbaden, Germany. The concert will take you on a musical journey filled with highlights of Gospel, Jazz, Pop, World and Irish Music. The concert will begin a 7 p.m. and will be held in Cape May Convention Hall.
