OCEAN CITY — Photographs will be accepted March 10 through March 24, at the Ocean City Arts Center for the April Juried Photography Show. Up to four photographs may be submitted at a cost of $18 each. Prizes are Best of Show at $200; Second Place at $150; Third Place at $100; and Two Honorable Mentions at $50 each. An Awards reception will be held Friday, April 11, 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Admission to the reception is free and open to the public. All accepted photographs will be featured in the main gallery April 1 through April 30 and are for sale.
All work must be framed with glass or plexi-glass and be ready to hang with wire attached. Traditional photography and digital/computer generated photos are eligible. All elements of digital work must be created by the photographer. Overall frame size should not exceed 24 by 28 inches. All photographs must have been created within the last 3 years.
Executive Director Rosalyn Lifshin said, “The Juried Photography Show gets bigger every year. It provides photographers, both professionals and amateurs, with the opportunity to show their work. Many of the winners go on to earn solo shows at the Arts Center and other venues”.
