OCEAN CITY — As any local resident can attest, the fall is one of the most splendid time at the Jersey shore. The “Art on Asbury” Gallery celebrates the new season with their annual “The Beauty of Trees” September Exhibition and Show.
The Ocean City Fine Arts League invites all artists to submit up to two entries in the “Beauty of Trees” competition and exhibition. Maximum size is 50 united inches (length + width). Entry fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Entries are accepted in all mediums and can reflect any theme. Entries can be dropped off from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1.
The “Meet The Artist” reception and awards presentation for the “Beauty of Trees” show will be held on Friday, September 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public. The show runs through the end of September and artwork will be changing throughout the show, as pieces sell. Start painting for the October show, “Inspirations from your Favorite Artists.”
