WILDWOOD CREST – A Beef & Beer to benefit heart transplant patient Bill Ravenkamp is set for Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 to 11 pm at the Bayview Inn of Wildwood Crest. The Rocktologists band will perform live. The event’s menu consists of several promising choices including Hot Roast Beef, Bayview’s Famous Wings, Baked Ziti, and Caesar Salad accompanied by draft beer and house wine. Admission costs just $20 a person.
Bill Ravenkamp, a resident of Cape May Court House, had a heart transplant in May. Before that Bill’s life revolved around constant trips to the ER, lengthy stays at various hospitals, and the disappointment of leaving his employment.
Bill is a volunteer at Cape Regional Hospital, and Middle Township PAC. At Our Lady of the Angels Church, Bill is a Eucharistic minister, lector, altar server, member of Pastoral Council. He is also the “football mania” guy!
Bill’s family established a fundraising campaign through the nonprofit HelpHOPELive to raise money to help Bill with his uninsured medical expenses associated with the heart transplant.
