Basset Hound Olympics Moved To Saturday

OCEAN CITY – Doo Dah Update: The Tri State Basset Hound Rescue League, organizers of Doo Dah’s Basset Hound Olympics, have now decided to move the Olympics to Sat. because of the threat of rain on Fri. The popular event will be held after the Doo Dah Parade at Carey Stadium, the High School Football Field, 6th St. off the Boardwalk. The Rescue League holds a picnic in that area following the Parade which includes all bassets that have participated in the Boardwalk Waddle.
Estimated time of Parade ending is between 1:30 and 2 p.m.
The Parade starts at noon at 6th and Asbury Ave., turns to the Boardwalk at 12th and Asbury and ends at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace.
