COURT HOUSE — Cape May County is going to the dogs! The second annual American Cancer Society Bark For Life of Cape May County will be held Aug. 17, 2013 at Amanda’s Field in Petersburg, NJ from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Families and their dogs will once again come together to complete a one mile walk to honor the caregiving qualities of their furry four-legged friends while supporting the mission of the American Cancer Society. please join us for entertainment, food, contests, search and rescue demonstrations, prizes, and so much more!
Registration begins at 9 a.m., or can be done online at www.relayforlife.org/barkcapemaycountynj prior to the event. The first 100 registered dogs will receive a Bark For Life goodie bag. Registration is $10 per dog, with a two dog maximum per person.
The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a fundraising event that honors canine caregivers, including service dogs, therapy dogs, cancer survivor dogs, and so on. Canine companions demonstrate unconditional love and compassion regardless of a cancer diagnosis.
