Bandstand Performs at Crest’s Centennial Park Sat., Aug. 20

WILDWOOD CREST – Bandstand, one of the region’s most popular dance/party bands, takes the stage at Centennial Park Saturday, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. as the Wildwood Crest Summer Live Music Series continues.
Performing some of the best dance and party hits from the 1960s to today, Bandstand is a versatile band that features male and female vocalists, a full rhythm section and a horn section. This long-running band has performed regularly at nightclubs, festivals, weddings and many more venues throughout the Delaware Valley for years.
This all-ages show is FREE and open to the entire family. Those attending the show should bring a blanket or a chair. Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue. Free parking for the show is available at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.
Centennial Park hosts FREE live musical performances each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday through Sept. 3.
During all Wednesday and Saturday shows, Centennial Park also features a model train arrangement to entertain kids and adults alike. The model trains are located in the southwest corner of the park.
Other upcoming shows in the Summer Live Music Series at Centennial Park include: Mon., Aug. 22 – High Society (pop/oldies hits); Wed., Aug. 24 – the Star Band (oldies/dance hits); Sat., Aug. 27 – Sensational Soul Cruisers (Motown/dance/R&B/funk); Mon., Aug. 29 – Michael James (pop/oldies hits).
